INTRODUCTION Throughout history, the Performing Arts have made a contribution to all sections of society, crossing over racial, cultural and geographical barriers. The performing arts have the power to affect change, bring about hope, inspire, motivate, educate and enlighten. Through dance, music and drama we have the power to communicate to society a deeper understanding of the human condition. Theatre allows us to see ourselves through someone else's mind and body. It gives us the opportunity to learn about each other and ourselves. To study the performing arts is to study a part of history to become a part of history. MISSION Our goal at Atlantic Arts is to provide a professional, disciplined yet fun and supportive atmosphere where students of all levels can succeed. Regardless of age or whether or not your goal is to become a professional performing artist, we believe that an Arts Education is essential, creating positive results that will last a lifetime. Our aim is not only to teach the Arts but also to teach an appreciation of the Arts so that you not only learn 'how you do' but 'why you do'. We have assembled a staff of instructors with years of professional experience so that you are not only learning from teachers that have 'studied the arts' but from teachers who have 'lived the arts'. Atlantic Arts offers an environment where students can come just to have fun or, if they desire, to pursue a professional career. We maintain our commitment to the highest standards of excellence in Arts Education. FACILITY Our fully air-conditioned facility is over 10,400 square feet; including 4 large dance studios, fully equipped with professional sound equipment, mirrors and floating cushioned floors to provide the utmost in safety and quality to all of our students; a studio, used exclusively for vocal classes is equipped with sound system, mirrors and piano; a 200 Seat Theater used exclusively for drama classes is equipped with full professional lighting and sound system, 1000 sq foot stage, 200 cushioned seat set in a stadium style format. The bathrooms are spacious and the water fountain is equipped with a "Zephyrhills" filtration system providing filtered water to all our students and guests for free.
