Performance Company Membership
Performance Company membership is for students 9 years and older who wish to further their training as a performer and who have reached at least a Level III higher education. The program is geared towards the student who wishes to pursue the arts as a possible career choice at a college or higher level and be eligible for scholarships.
Company membership will include community performances, weekend conventions and workshops as well as performances at The Atlantic Theater. It will also include classes with guest instructors, directors and choreographers and the occasional competition for dance company.
Acceptance in the Dance, Drama, Musical Theater or Musical Ensemble Performance Company is by audition only and at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director and Head Instructor. Auditions typically take place in late August of each season. Requirements will be set in place for company membership at time of acceptance.
Dance Company
Weekly Class Requirements | 3 Ballet Classes, 1 Jazz Class, 1 Modern Class. A Tap Class is highly recommended. Attendance at a 3-4 hour Rehearsal Per Week Mandatory. Additionally, Summer Classes and Periodic Workshops Mandatory.
Drama Company
Weekly Class Requirements | 1 Improv Class, 1 Scene Study Class, 1 Voice Class and 1 Dance Class per week mandatory. Attendance at 2-4 Hour Rehearsal Per Week Mandatory. Additionally, Summer Classes and Periodic Workshops are mandatory.
Musical Theater Company
Weekly Class Requirements | 1 Musical Theater class, 1 Private Voice Class, 1 Jazz Class, 1 Tap Class, 1 Improv per week (1 Ballet, highly recommended).
Rock Band Ensemble
Weekly Class Requirements : 1 Rock Band Class, 1 Private Voice or Music Lesson (depending on discipline), 1 Acting and/or Dance Class highly recommended as well.
